When Duke was little, he was a nameless puppy who wasn’t treated well. A group rescued him and gave him shelter and food and water. Foster parents nursed him back to health. Soon, Duke found a new forever home with Joe and Alli. He went from sleeping on the streets to sleeping in bed and snuggling on the couch. Duke has enough to eat and drink and gets to go on long walks. Joe and Alli love him, and he loves them just the same.

Based on a true story, this picture book for children shares the tale of a rescue dog and his new life with a happy ending.
